Xin Liu is an artist and engineer based in London and New York City. Among many endeavors ranging from national to interstellar, Xin is the arts curator in the Space Exploration Initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab, artist-in-residence at SETI Institute, and an advisor for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Art+Tech Lab. Her recent research centers around the verticality of space, extraterrestrial exploration, and the metabolism of our planet and how it has been affected in the past few decades by technological and biopolitical infrastructures.
