At the 2025 Dallas Art Fair, Make Room will present a curated booth of works by nine contemporary artists: Jacopo Pagin, Leo Frontini, linn meyers, Pía Ortuño, Sophia Anthony, Sun Woo, Shana Hoehn, Xin Liu, and Yoab Vera.
Spanning painting, sculpture, drawing, and installation, this presentation offers a constellation of practices that reflect on interiority, transformation, and the poetics of perception. The works trace shifting emotional and temporal topographies of contemporary living.
Jacopo Pagin reanimates historical visual languages through surreal imagery, creating theatrical spaces where past and present intertwine. Leo Frontini’s paintings provoke subconscious terrain, where precision and vulnerability converge. With quiet rhythm and restrained gesture, linn meyers composes meditative drawings that chart the flow of time. Pía Ortuño attends to the liminal space between tradition and transformation, grounding her practice in material process while reflecting on the memory of her motherland. Sophia Anthony’s atmospheric interiors pulse with ambiguity—both invitation and concealment. Shana Hoehn’s practice navigates states of becoming, questioning embodiment through evocative sculptural forms. Sun Woo situates her paintings in surreal environments, where touch, memory, and psychological space collapse into one another. Xin Liu’s work weaves together themes of cryogenics, science fiction, and mortality, delving into humanity’s quest for immortality through technological means. Yoab Vera incorporates fragments of the urban landscape into textured surfaces, assembling visions of real and imagined terrains.
Together, these works propose alternate vocabularies of experience, where material and metaphor converge in a shared search for resonance.
